Are you able to read this?

If you are it means you have a phone or a computer. It means you can afford internet connectivity. It means you are able to take time off your busy schedule to play with your phone, or you are just plain bored and looking for how to pass time lol...
It means you are not hungry. It means you are happy or could be happy if you allow yourself. It means you have people you care about and you have friends and family, or you are just here to vote your friend in for Miss Anambra 2015. Whatever the case you are here...

It means you can read and speak. It means you can communicate and you have the ability to comprehend. It means you are not retarded, a vegetable or in coma. It's means you have your health in a good place.  It means you can see, touch and feel things and you haven't lost the ability  to move, even if you are unable to move it means you don't need 100% human help to get around and do things for yourself.

It means you are free, you are not in jail. It means you are not in a war torn area. It ultimately means you are alive today and free to do whatever you want (unless of course you still need permission from school, parents, husband, wife, boss etc) but you are still free.

How deserving do you think you are of all these little but great mercies more than other people who don't have them? What rights and privileges do you feel entitled to that others who don't have it ‎aren't entitled to?

I am taking a few minutes today to think about what is happening around me and the world. I am calling this my #thankfulsunday. I am thankful to not be in a place like Syria at this time, or one of the kidnapped chibok girls (true or false, just allow yourself to imagine it). I am #thankful also that NEPA\PHCN has decided I deserve electricity for more than 24hrs lol... #thankful for little favours so numerous to count.

What are you thankful for?

I hope you have an amazing week...
